Megan Fox, no makeup: still lovely

Posted in Makeup McCarthyites, Makeupgate, Megan Fox, celebrities without makeup, makeup Nazis on May 13th, 2012 by admin

Megan Fox without makeupJust checking in, as we do from time to time, on Megan Fox without makeup.

(Check out the Megan Fox without makeup thread, here.)

Yah… still beautiful. So why the continuing jihad on Fox and makeup?

(The latest variation came when Entertainment Tonight violated its agreement, a decision apparently endorsed by Womb-Raider-in-Chief Laura Blue Bell. See our report on Entertainment Tonight’s assault on Fox and total lack of integrity afterwards, here.)

1. Some are jealous. Looking at them, one can see why.

2. Some like to pose. “Hey, honey, lookit me, I’m suggesting a famous, prominent beauty isn’t so attractive.”

All of which only goes to show that some people can make prostitutes of themselves with slutty lipstick, or without.

Megan Fox appears to be pregnant…
and Steve Jones is definitely a jack - - -

Posted in Entertainment Tonight, Megan Fox, Steve Jones is a pig on May 9th, 2012 by admin

Steve Jones, pig, who works for Entertainment Tonightk, fellas, here’s the thing:

When a woman is in the early stages of pregnancy, there’s a lot to do.

First of all, there’s the very good possibility, sad but true, that an early pregnancy will end in miscarriage.

Even when it doesn’t, there are relatives and friends to inform… people whose feelings will be hurt if they aren’t told early…

So when journalist — speaking loosely now — Steve Jones asked Megan Fox about her rumored pregnancy, he crossed a line.

Megan Fox knows better than to trust Steve Jones and Entertainment Tonight again

Fox’s publicist remonstrated, she walked out of the interview.

Pray don’t throw the first amendment at us: We didn’t say he broke the law. He just crossed a line.

“I’d like to formerly (sic) apologize to Ms. Fox for attacking her with the word baby. Thankfully, there was a publicist there to stop me,” Jones later quipped.

This apology is as insincere as it is disinformational.

Jones promised —
as a condition of the interview
not to bring up the pregnancy rumors.

He didn’t break the law; he didn’t attack her with the word “baby.” And no one (straw man argument alert) ever said he did.

He broke his word, which was used to induce Ms. Fox to offer an exclusive interview.

Entertainment Tonight owes Fox and her husband an apology. We don’t expect it.

When it doesn’t come, though, other stars should be very reticent about dealing with the show… whether it’s with Jones or other staff there.

Megan Fox without makeup… take a look!

Posted in Makeup McCarthyites, Makeupgate, Megan Fox, celebrities without makeup, makeup Nazis on May 5th, 2012 by admin

“There they go again” on Megan Fox, who, according to the Maekup Nazis, is, without her kit, indistinguishable from a prune.

Megan Fox without makeup. wow.

Take a close look. Yah, there’s some makeup and probaby photoshop enhancement.

To which, all we have to say is, “Ja und?”

Megan Fox without makeup (take away the blush and she’s… ahm… gorgeous!)

Posted in Megan Fox on May 4th, 2012 by admin

Megan Fox without makeupWe’ve written before about Megan Fox’s alleged less-than-desirable appearance when appearing au natural. (Check out the Megan Fox without makeup thread, here.)

Here she is in a photo hyped online recently as “pre-boob-job.” Well, we’re taking a close look there: perky, pointy, nice. But notice also, we have a crossover pic here: Very light makeup, little or no blush, light or no eyeliner.

Result? Em… She’s gorgeous. Makeup Nazis, pop culture denizens, chattering class: get over it! So why the continuing scrutiny?

1. Some are jealous. We hate to say it, but it happens. Check out the discussion of makeup in The Last Picture Show.

2. Some like to pose. “Oooh, lookit me, I’m suggesting a famous, prominent beauty isn’t so attractive.” Please.

We say again: The pop-culture press loves Makeupgate. Ironic, that. What do some of these reporters look like, “without their makeup”?

Megan Fox and the Makeup Nazis

Posted in Makeup McCarthyites, Makeupgate, Megan Fox, celebrities without makeup, makeup Nazis on August 1st, 2011 by admin

We’ve written numerous times about Megan Fox’s alleged less-than-desirable appearance when appearing au natural. (Check out the Megan Fox without makeup thread, here.)

So it’s no surprise to us that Ms. Fox felt the need to defend herself with a series of images at her Facebook site, the gist of which are, “look ma, no Botox.”

It is, however, pathetic. Not for Megan Fox. Rather, as a commentary on her critics.

(By the way, please, no emails, boyos… yes, she’s wearing eye shadow! &tc. The photos were posted in response to allegations she’s using botox. Ms. Fox makes various facial movements in an effort to dispel. Sheesh…)

What is the big deal about celebrities without, makeup? It’s a repeated theme in coverage. We think it’s several factors:

1. Reporters, web-geeks, and open-source programmers love to show how clever they are. Check out the comments on Rihanna at various sites like the Destiny Forum and other sub-literate discussion boards. If you can see through everything, you can’t see anything.

2. Chance and nature. Who looks great first thing in the morning… or heading home drunk or high from a party — or, ulp, getting arrested?

Few of us. Sooner or later, some reporter or photog gets a glance at someone getting into a car, or squinting their face against the flashbulbs and — gotcha! — proves to the world that the world they pimp out for internet clicks is not what it seems.

BMFD.

3. Other women are jealous. We hate to say it, but it happens. Check out the discussion of makeup in The Last Picture Show.

Anyway, that’s our analysis. It matters, not because Megan Fox has anything to prove… but because the culture, and the aforementioned scum-bags, are exposed by their periodic forays into Makeupgate.

Ironic, that. What do some of these reporters look like, “without their makeup”? And how good do their motives look? You wanna make some posts, boys and girls? Ya, we thought so.
