You know: The Green Dress… palm leaf pattern, diaphanous, with a slit down the center. You know. February 2000 — the Gramm Awards. The Versace. A combination of Eve in the Garden of Eden, the Huntress Diana, and modern Hollywood glamour.
So we were a little surprised to read, at one of our favorite celebrity news reports (I’m not Obsessed) recently, of the following interchange between Jennfer Lopez and cuck-hubby Marc Anthony. Asked by a reported if she’d ever wear something like that again, J-Lo responded:
“For me, it was one of the eye-opening moments of what a dress could actually do. And I was on the cover of the paper the next day, because of that Versace dress. No, I’d wear it again….”
Enter Marc Anthony who interjected: “Maybe as a wife, she wouldn’t.”
Maybe not, Marc, or then again, maybe you don’t know where you stand — er, kneel — in this relationship. We get the whole Latin machismo thing, but you may not be as in-control as you think.
Reportedly, Lopez laughed as Anthony issued his kibitz. You can take that one of two ways, boyo.
