Paris Hilton is the new pop-cult girlydom — the young lady males of widely different ages would love to see emerge as demonic temptress, the bimbo-siren who lures them to perdition and laughs as they spiral downwards.
(In this role, she replaces — for the time being — Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Sarah Michelle Gellar… though we expect a comeback from each of them, i.e., Paris is not without long-term competition.)
So there isn’t a lot of embellishment required to note that her recent appearance in Repo! the Genetic Opera should be a sort of dark wish fulfillment for the male species.
Paris prances through several scenes making the transition males long to see in real life, from debutante to destroyer, and seems relatively at home in the role to boot.
